Reflecting on 2025

As 2025 draws to a close, the Reid & Harrison team took the opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate a year of hard work with an end-of-year dinner in Matamata. On a Friday night in early-December, 30 staff members and partners came together at Sofra Restaurant to enjoy a relaxed three-course meal and, more importantly, each other’s company.

The evening was a chance to step away from the workshop, the paddock, and the daily demands of helping customers across the region. Following a noticeably busier year than the previous few, the dinner offered a well-earned moment to acknowledge the effort, commitment, and teamwork that have underpinned Reid & Harrison’s success throughout 2025.

During the evening, CEO Keith Cooke took the time to thank the team for their dedication over the past twelve months. His words reflected what many already felt, that the growth and momentum the business has experienced is a direct result of the people behind it. From early starts and long days to problem-solving on farm and in the workshop, the team once again demonstrated the values that Reid & Harrison has been built on.

The atmosphere at Sofra was relaxed and genuine, filled with laughter, good food, and conversations that had nothing to do with pumps, tanks, or effluent systems. Partners were welcomed into the celebration, recognising the support they provide behind the scenes and the role they play in enabling the team to do what they do best.

As Reid & Harrison looks ahead to 2026, the end-of-year dinner served as a timely reminder that while the work is important, the people are everything. It was a great evening, with great company, and a fitting way to close out a strong year.
