Effluent Systems

We are one of only a few companies accredited to design dairy effluent systems that meet industry standards and codes of practice.

Systems designed and installed by Reid & Harrison Services will meet:

• Farm Dairy Effluent (FDE) Design Code of Practice
• Farm Dairy Effluent (FDE) Design Standards

We supply and install systems and equipment, and provide full after sales service and support.

Dairy effluent systems are made up of many elements:

• Distribution infrastructure (pumps, mainlines, manifolds, hydrants, etc.)
• Irrigation equipment (travelling irrigators, rainguns, sprinklers, etc.)
• Solids separation (mechanical separators, weeping walls, stone traps, etc.)
• Storage (ponds, tanks, sumps, bunkers, etc.)
• Flood wash systems for feed and stand-off pads.
• Bunkers and wash systems for herd homes.
• Management plans and training to ensure successful system operation.
